The Finally Year Creative Future week
They invited some of the guest speakers to our University, talk about their experience and give us some of the sugguestion for our future life, inclding some of them share how they get the first job in their life.
Day1
Opening address - What's current in the Creative Industries
Dr Stuart Cunningham
Dr. Stuart Cunningham has opened two creative futures week ago, I did not expect this morning, he walked into the wrestling style entrance. Flashing lights, music, video, and SFX is part of the show, the multifunction display Glyndwr provided some creative disciplines.

Dr. Cunningham explained a bit self-indulgent video behind reiterate, Creative Futures is all about me (of course, our students) and encouraged us to sell ourselves to potential employers, is a bit self-indulgent.

Passed to Sarah Mel Gates, Dr. Cunningham explained creative futures:

1. To make a realistic insight into working in the industry today.
2. To help improve our employability.
3. The opportunity to develop as students, the public and potential employees and network
4. In order to meet the requirements of academic research.

At the very frist time I don't even know what is Gelicity is until they show me the photos of it. And after I back home I did some of the search.

Teaching as an option for students in the creative field

I have always thought teaching as a potential career. Like many people, I am still struggling with what to do in the long-term decision. I think it is important to keep my choice, rather than trying to pigeon hole, when it comes to my future.Although I can not stay the entire conversation (for personal reasons) What I did not hear, really useful. Ursula was the ITET manager processing in Bangor and Aberystwyth University Graduate Certificate in Education Management. She began a very valid point, most people have a teacher from their education, whether it is better to not remember. He worked at a company called RHOS-on-Sea, Conway View creative. He started as a junior designer, and has been promoted to digital creative lead. His areas of expertise is web design, CSS and HTML. "We have left a deep impression on view to understand our brand and different products and target audience, they put forward new ideas and we found them friendly and response teams to work together, as well as competitiveThe company is proud of in underwear every stage of the design process, through research, moodboards, concept, design, final design and printing. In all honesty, I have not really learned all things, in addition to the - Jason Devitt conversation easily my best week. It would have been really useful to hear his first year, his conversation is very, very informative. The same lesson seems to crop, although it is gratifying graduates each year there are jobs out there, some talkative seems to be quite patronize our mature students.           My Game’s Background

Name: Yiwei Li

Major: Creative Media Game Art

Frist thing I decided to design my game ideas comes from a game I used to play Mobile game apps call ‘Dinner  Dash’, then the ideas just comes up why don’t I just design a game  similar? After that I do some of the research, find out there have a statue in Belgium Manneken Pis, and lots countries giving their own traditional outfit to this statue, so the local government there are dressing it all those traditional outfit or another theme fancy dress on sometimes.

   

My Game’s Introduction

My game is about a waitress travel and service in different countries’ restaurants, if pass first level it mean she collect enough money to go to next countries, so if the game into different level it will have different backgrounds and different waitress outfit( it will be every countries’ traditional  outfit for the waitress) so it might be very interesting. For now I make the first level it will be Holland.

Software Negotiated Study 2

Last year,I thought Maya software will be a good choose to using  

independent, until April I found out it will be more easier to using with Mudbox software it will be much more easier to creative something you want to do.

Fristly, I'm use Maya Polygons NURBS Creative some of the shapes like sphere,cube. Some simple sphere can easy to change.

  

After that using Mudbox tool to make the shapes I want like the photos, if  I feels like I want to get more thing on the character I will send the character back to Maya software add some of the NURBS sphere I want it too, Such like bow I like for the character, or the hat she wearing.

Also I tring to creative her eyes, all I did just set all those polygons in the right position.

The last one is get the colors for the eyes.
